it would be cheaper to buy a land cruiser... also vits are designed for smaller motors than rav's you would probably have issues with the drive train. you'd be better setting up some sort of long travel independant setup on your rav ?

I would highly recomend the Patrol/Maverick for comfort and plus you will get more "Bang for your buck" cruisers are fine but expensive. Hilux and 4runners are not as comfortable and less power as either of the above choices. just my 2c 95 v6 4runner i have a lot to do with is just as comfortable ...

30's are a fair bit bigger than 235/75 r15, you can get a 30 in any maxxis tyre i have seen, in mtr's, bfg mt's at's, it's a really common size actually

coil packs would handle water crossings better than a dizzy? maybe? computers are easy to position and keep away from water to the stage that if you where to drown the ecu you would have drowned your other computers / modules and things anyways.

An EFI system typically gives good control over the ignition timing too. i had never done wiring ever before and mine isn't a birds nest and has been a thousand times more reliable ...

that makes no sense

i would understand if you said down travel was limited by some other suspension component, but if the compressed length of a shock is too long it means that the bump stop would not reach the point at which it is meant to hit and the shock would bottom out on up travel instead...
