hey dave, could the condition of the rubbers possibly be from the extreme situations that they are subject to a (and was it a component failure or just the rubber bushes)

at the moment i am very happy with the results but time will tell how they go and it only cost me $176 for a 2" lift (cant complain about that)

Spoke to Carrolls, they don't have a leaf spring listing for a '99 Challenger. Just list torsion bars and shocks sorry.
