I got a set done at a local machine shop. Just took in a spare rim and he did the rest. Cost $100 each then just got the studs and pressed them in myself. That was a 1" steel spacer.

And our cars are pretty standard with only 2" spring lifts and 33's. Albiet all with double lockers and winches ...

Thanks very much for the info guys. The body has a 2" lift. Do you know if there will be any clearance issues if i go down the Falcon tbi path? As the 4.4 is already higher than the 3.5.

I have managed to track down a set of adaptors and i have a haltech computer but it sounds like there will ...

Marshy and Julie, Congrats on another top event. From our point, things ran alot smoother this year with minimal waiting times in between stages. All stage marshalls were clear with instructions and consistant with judging. It was a real shame about the rain but you can't control everything so well ...

Wouldnt bending them like that cause the front diff to rotate and alter front tailshaft angles which in turn would effect handling and tailshaft vibration?

Phippsy no need to worry about the auto stick. ZF's are a cable shift so as long as there is enough length in the cable you should be right. They are around 1.5m long from memory. The t-bar will just come up with the body.

Thanks guys. Does work well in 99% of situations and doesnt effect on road handling but in some situations with the rear being so free to move eg uphill with the rear right tyre in a hole the front end does want to screw up. In that situation a selectable sway bar like on GQ patrols would be good ...

I used 100mm x 10mm plate to make my towers. Still bolt on so you can go back to standard if you wish. And same angle as original but they come out about 60mm from the chassis to clear the rear tub on a wagon if you choose to install them on it as well. We have run this setup up here on a wagon and ...

Have done nothing to limit up travel. The shocks will only top out with both wheels compressed and about half the bump stop compressed which is pretty hard to do being solid rubber. I still use standard bump stops as only have the 2" lift. Being a tray back there is nothing to damage at the rear. I ...
