i did the same thing with 06 model, I went from 265/70/15's up to 31/10.5/15's and had them on hilux rims, it was all over the place so I put the tyres onto the standard alloys and never did it again.
As for the snorkel airtec do one that will fit the guard will or without flares, the standard ...

hey mate, I tried a set of 33" tyres on my 06 courier dual and found that I had stuff all room for turning and articulation, I have since put a new set of 31x10.5x15 maxxis bighorns and cannot complain at all.
