well i got it sorted got a refund on the new clutch, went and saw a friend who knows a thing or two and now i'm pickin up my new hd clutch tonight. no new flywheel now the one there is right to go. thanx everyone for the help. :armsup:

ok so i found that all out on exedy website, but it looks to me like the car has had a single mass clutch put ononce before and the ring gear maybe abit larger then the new flywheel will allow i'll get a photo

ok so i just bought a new safari tuff clutch kit from exedy and when i pull all the stuff out the single mass fly has no gear teeth on it for the starter motor, which is all good if i wanna roll start everytime but i don't! so any ideas whats happened did they supply the wrong fly or have i gotta ge...

I think stay with the G52, how many kms has it done?

thanx for the link struddy yeah i thought the g52 was a good box. i'd really like to keep it. it has done 316k tho so its done pretty well til now. people do like th r series boxes too.
