Re: how do iget a v6 hilux registed
Don't buy it. I put a commodore motor in a hilux about 10 years ago and hated it. Was woeful on fuel and always ran hot. Sold it to some young sucker It was 10 years ago so things may have changed. But in NSW it didn't need engineering as hilux's allready had V6s from factory, so was an approved ...

Re: Vehicle Engineering
This is going back a while, but it probably hasn't changed. About 12 years ago i moved from NSW down to Geelong. I had a hilux with a commodore V6 and a 3" body lift. When i went to change the rego over to Vic no one would give me a rego certificate without an engineers report. Tried 4 different ...

Re: Disco diffs keep braking?
Was it a tight fit, what auto did he run.
Do you know what sort of fuel consumption their getting?
Would love to see some pics.
Put a V6 commodore motor in a hilux once. Thought I was going to get similar fuel economy to the commodore work ute I had, but it was about double. Absolutely shocking.

Re:
Hilux diffs are the way to go, as you get a stronger rear and decent ratios, can be had in 4.1, 4.3 or 4.55 I believe from bundera's You can fit locker to rover centres, but you still need axles and diff gears do have a decent set up, only prob with the lux conversion, is you have to do it all at ...

Re: 3.2 DiD into D2
Noting that the Mitsubishi 3.2 has since been dropped and replaced by a 2.4 or 2.5 that easily out performs the 3.2. The TD5 has the same technology as these Mitsubishi engines and can easily made to out perform them. Garry Just went on the Mitsi site and the pajero is still running the 3.2 I ...

3.2 DiD into D2
How hard would it be to put the 3.2DiD diesel and auto out of the pajero into a D2.
Being only 4 cylinder it should fit.
Seeing as their from I think 2003 their shouldn't be any emmisions issues.
Have read their brilliant motors.
Just need to bolt the auto to the LT230 case.
Is it possible?
