Everything is stock, except a 50mm suspension lift and 225/70/R16. It seems that over the last 6 months the power has decreased, but i had it serviced and compression is still spec.

Performance upgrade for 97 2.0lt 4 cyclinder vit

Im sick of my cars lack of grunt, particularly on the road either up hills or overtaking. I was wondering what would be the most suitable performance upgrade, and how much extra grunt would i get.

In my experience, i have to agree with Area54. 235/85/R16 at low pressure bag out nicely. I like this size tyre the best, because it is the most versatile,it can do sand, rock hopping, and return good mileage on the highway. Also im from Perth and recently went to Sydney, and there are homos ...

235/60/R16 is a shocking tyre size. Its way to low in profile, and would be crap off road. MY vitara came with 215/65/R16 and they were shit

yeah i might stick to the BFGs All terrain. Here in WA we got mostly sand, and small sharp rock. The only really common mud we get is up north in the wet, but driving on wet tracks wrecks them. I was considering Coopers AT, Bridgestone AT or Kumho AT (cheap). BFG are the only ones with 3 ply ...

Best all terrain tyre

Im looking for new AT tyres in sizes 225/75/R16 or 235/70/R16. Currently i have bfgs and im thrilled with them. Most of my driving is on road, and on beach tracks. I need a LT construction.

Best - suspension and coil spacers giving extra clearence, i have commordore shocks in the rear giving heaps more wheel travel, BFGs are great, and my 6x9s in the back

Worst- i bought some yoko geolander tyres and they were hopeless, and costs more than BFG,

looking for new tyres for 2.0l SWB vit

Im in the process of looking for new tyres. Its either going to be 225/75/R16 or 235/70/R16. At the moment i have 225/70/R16 BFG at which are great. I drive mostly on the road. My off roading is mainly beach work, and rutted tracks. BFG looks to be the strongest AT tyre around. I had yoko geolanders ...

i put the vl shocks in after finishing uni today and then went to test the articulation. I was relieved to see that fully compressed, the Vl shocks are the same lenght as my originals, yet had 6cm more travel. I ramped it up and the spring has no chance of coming out. It was the first time i had ...
