Got one in my prado not the fastest winch but it just keeps pulling.
I think there not bad for the money,and i'm shore they are just a rebadged brawn winch.

If you sharpen a masonary bit the same as normal drill it will drill thru hardened steal

We are heading to the Mud this weekend and don't know which tyres to wear. We have a set of silverstone MT117 Sport 285/75/16's and a set of 255/75/16's mongrels. Did u scratch the paint before u put the paint striper on?
If you us a orbital sander dont hold it 1 area to long it will warp the panels

If u can't find a good cab you can weld a new roof on but u have to stagger your joins on the pillers.

150k for timing belt , don't know about the rest i got mine after 100k

You will need to change front struts if you want to lift it 50mm.
As for tyres i'm not sure i run 285/75/16 but thats on a gxl prado

It will rub on your front mud flaps, but you can adjust them.(grinder)Back will fit no worrys.

Just wondering how many kms you would get out of them with road use,and what height they measure on rims for 285 75 16.

What do they where like on the road .and what sort of kms do you get out of them.

Might pay to check if all the places you are going are open .Since the fires up there a lot of tracks and places are closed.

What sort of mileage can u expect on road.

The v6 model has a diff breather on the front that goes up the left hand side skirt.The back diff only has a short hose that goes to the chasey. Run a hose from the back diff to the fire wall then Put a cheap fuel filter on the end of the hose . stops any rubish getting in the diff.

Try 4wd stuff on this forum i got some springs and shockers of him for my Prado .Good to deal with and good prices.

I run bilsteins on the front and efs shocks on the back .Lovells springs all round. Rides well handles well. If you want to buy or talk to anyone about suspension talk to 4wd Stuff on outerlimits.

I'm looking for a set of front struts for my 97 Prado.

I run a 75mm lift with bilstein struts and shockers and King springs .Does the job for me,rides well,handles well.My prado is a 90seires

I'd say go the mongrels but they dont make 35s

I use penrite in my hilux and my prado have had no problems.I,d
go the penrite.

If you can find any gu rims they are 16x8 .Nissan rims will fit toyo but toyo won't fit nissan.

We've had the mongrels about 8 months now. Good on road, awesome offroad. Great in the mud.

Try ebay sometimes the have them there .

I run 255 70 16 mongrels on my prado .Have been great so far, top tyre in the mud not that noisy on the road,no more noisy than kumhos.Seem to were well on the road .
