Never seen a RD28T blowing a headgasket without cracking the head about 0.005 seconds later ;) and since the RD28T was the only, officially, avail. engine in Germany I've seen a whole lot of them.

I know ... The first one i had overheated and blew all the coolant out, the ...

what converter would you use when mating a 440f with a 1uzfe ?
Is this due to the different speed or you mean the different characteristics
between diesel and petrol :?:

LS1/2 - GQ/GU Conversion questions.

Does a standard LS1 have enough grunt for a 2400 kg winch comp truck ?
Can the 4L60 handle the abuse ? Any modifications needed, sump, converter or shift kit ?
Anyone used Marks4wd 4L60 - GQ/GU Transfer adaptor kit ? anyone used this ?

Thanks.

On the Danish question... i think that realistically you'd want to look at a US V8; the USA is not far over the ocean and at least with one of those you will be able to order parts and upgrades off the shelf and get them shipped fast.

So LS1 or LS2 is the go imho. LS2 is used in the Saab 9-7X ...

I know that swapping a V( into a patrol isnt a new thing for you guys, but for us in little Denmark, it's not something you see every day.
