Lockers

after seeing several ls1 powered 4wd's (75 series cruiser, gq patrol, my 75/80 cruiser) i'd take an ls1 over a diesel any day of the week, if you like having decent power under your boot :D I definatly agree besides it is working out cheaper than rebuilding the diesel and fitting a turbo to ...

Can always boost ya 1HZ and not bother with teh expnse of a LS1 conversion... that truck that past you is probably a tanker with teh fuel you needed to run and LS1 anyways!!! I have a ls1 in my vt and I don't think I would be able to get enough boost in a diesel reliably to even half match a ...

Sorry killalux it's a 80 series 5 speed and I am thinking about putting a ls1 auto that I already have for a nother project as I am just sick of having to flog a diesel and still get passed by trucks up hills

i run a superior draglink on my 80 diff. the heavy duty one. ive broken tie rod ends but the actual chromo rod survives. its got a tiny bend in it but its done 2 tuff truck challenges now and still works a treat. i almost got a lukeys tie rod on the rear of the diff but was abit too cash strapped ...

ive got 3rds productions ones in my 80.. u will find most mobs are the same tho. if ya got a mate with an engineering shop then u could build some cheap.. our u could be ruff and weld a bit of pipe over ur std ones.... I have done the ruff way and altho they didn't bend where I done it actually ...

I am amazed that there does not seem to be any one on this forum that can tell me who makes the strongest tie rods or drag links for 80series land cruiser. Maybee I should buy a Nissan.

so a 1hz anb 5 speed box 3000-4000?, what about a rebuilt one ? and will one fit in a fj45? without having to cut and weld mounts? is there an adaptor kit? ive just found im losing compression on my H motor (3.6) and its winding the starter motor to get it going :( I think rebuilt ones are worth ...

Well I still want it to be an every day driver and want a professional job not a back yard job would like it to be painted and want it as a duel cab so I can still seat five , I live near Newcastle.
