Re: GQ Diesel Fuel Issue

Your not going to like this, it sounds as your injector pump is stuffed.

White smoke is the result of the fuel not having enough heat to burn, this is the cause either due to the motor been way way down on compression (but if this was the case you would have would find the motor hard to start and ...

Just try and find a Heavy Truck/Trailer repair shop, your normal run of the mill fab shops would more likely say sorry not repairable.

Its common for Mining and Heavy Haulage trucks to have chassis work done over time, tell the repairer that you can buy prefab items to strengthen the work to save ...

I wouldn't be surprised if it's your tappet bar.

They wear out along the bottom side causing the gap setting for the valves to vary. You cannot see if it is worn until you remove all the tappets and springs from the bar.

The main reason behind the fitting of the pump is to maintain the fuel delivery to the injector pump. The factory fitted fuel line is fine for a std motor using std factory settings, but as we all do in the search for more power we play.

As we do play we reach the maximum flow potential of the fuel ...

If you referring to having a turbo to fit onto you motor after a rebuild it then, no the rebuild kit will be fine.

Just make sure that the kit it is for a Pre-90 motor as some changes did occur in later TD42 motors (Pistons and Pins changed)

285x75x16 are $285 Australian in the US for the Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar or $244 for the Wrangler MT/R old style.

So $350 to $427 is still a fcking rip off.

Can't tell me it costs over $100 per Tyre to bring them into Aust.

P.S that goes for most of the fcking tyres.
