Re: whats the best reasonable priced mud tyre on the market
Ive had a set of BFG's and i now have a set of trepadors. The bfg's were pretty good off road but horrible in the wet on road, i believe they have a much harder compound than the treps. The treps are better off road and awesome on road they are a much softer compound and do wear allot quicker. I ...

Re: GQ Control arms
If you are going to spend $150 plus on bushes you would be mad to not just purchase new HD arms , what is it worth in repairs time and effort when you snap your standard control arm on a step up or rock . It will snap your pinion, bend your coils, tear your shocks in half and if its a wagon stuff ...

GQ Control arms
My bushes in my upper and lower control arms are worn badly and i don't have the cash to put in new heavy duty arms.
Dose anyone know if it's expensive to just replace the bushes or is it easier to get a second hand set of arms and put them in.
If so anyone got some layiong around??
Cheers

Re: so i went to a 33 inch tire and now i got problems
My old fj45 did this but only the slightest bit and not enough to damage the rod end.
I had 35's and a 3 inch lift..
Maybe if you go a little higher its not as bad ??

Re: Brake Bias Valve adjustment
i Was playing around with mine today becouse they were doing next to nothing, and the rotors were rusting away due to lack of use. I wound out the bolt about 5 turns and it made a slight improvement, If i had new pads and rotors im sure it would be allot better but would never lock up the wheels. So ...

Re: gq diff locked up LSD? in 4x4 only ??
I think that's just a sign of a tight LSD. Mine used to do it but now its older it s not so tight and doesnt do it anymore. Cant explain why it only did it in 4x4. Just another of Nissan's little miracles. Cheers You mean there's even more of you people driving on the bitumen in 4wd? I'm genuinely ...

Re: 35 radial treps - what you lot think of them ?
Ive had mine for almost a year and there the best mud tyre ive had.
Awsome on rocks and mud, pretty good on sand and great grip on the road wet or dry. (all terrains are better in sand IMO)
I run Mine at 15 PSI on rocks and mud and and they work great.
Cheers
