well i went off road today and used both lockers and they both performed as they should. but no sound from the front. now it doesnt bother that there is no sound but i just dont want to be something wrong with the front. but it engages and disengages fine. again thanks for all the comments.

yeah im sure the front is working as it will not steer at all when its locked in. will have a closer look tomorrow as i am going off road also may quiz the arb guys as im also heading there tomorrow as well. thaks heaps for the advice

guys my mrs brother is about to buy an 05 4.2td wagon and everyone of the 4.2s we have looked at the rear trailing arms have some sort of bracket or somethimg on them. just wondering if anyone knows what there for? the 3ltrs dont have them.

guys just about got the gas on my truck and as gas burns at a higher temp thus running the engine at a higher temp was wondering what the best thermo fans to get are. been told that AU/BA ford are the best but looking at my mates gu 4.8 the fans on that look well capable to do the job. any thoughts?

mate i had dual fuel on mine and it was great. started on fuel and just drove on gas. tank of fuel would last months. and the performance was excellent especialy offf road. and to let you no i have the a mixer for the GQ carby that i would love to get rid of. it all works pm for more info if you want

it dies going up steep hills mbut also on the road normal driving i put my foot down and it just doesnt do what it is meant to do being a V8. feels like the pump is not keeping up with the engine

not sure what exactly you mean by how hot but if it is wat i think you mean its pretty stanfard. the carby has been rebuilt in the last 4months the hoses ar in good nick. not sure of the exact hose size but we did leave the standard GQ lines that run along the chassis

no it was not a diesel and its not running through the old filter. the pump is realy loud all the time sounds like its empty but the tank is full. i dont no whats doing i will just have to investigate it more
