Re: How 2 change rear main seal on Turbo Diesel Rocky?
Well i think i'll be at that stage on the weekend (ready to put the box back in) I have a big 2 tonne floor jack sitting under the gearbox cross member that the gearbox is sitting on. I intend to have myself and a mate guiding gearbox while another mate operates the jack I have the car on ramps at ...

Re: How 2 change rear main seal on Turbo Diesel Rocky?
Yeah there are 4 sump bolts that go into the housing ... i removed them but still didn't seem to get any movement or any signs of the housing coming off.
Really hoping that i don't have to drop the sump

How 2 change rear main seal on Turbo Diesel Rocky?
Hi all, I have a 1991 2.8 turbo diesel rocky here in australia (fourtrak in UK) I have a pretty bad oil leak coming from between motor and gearbox so i pulled the gearbox off assuming that the rear main seal would be the issue. Seems as though I am correct but i don't know how to get the seal off ...

Re: feroza - Pod filter vs standard
I agree completely with dirt passing through which is why i got rid of it straight away. My car does have a high flow exhaust and i guarantee you that it goes heaps better with the pod filter. I'm a mechanic and have worked on/driven enough vehicles and have enough experience to be able to notice ...

Re: removing engine
I just finished doing this applause motor into feroza over the weekend. As for the engine, almost NOTHING is the same between the 2 motors. The only thing that I can think of that I didn't have to swap apart from the block and head was the little single male spade temp sensor on the back of the head ...

feroza - Pod filter vs standard
I just finished putting the applause motor into my feroza over the weekend. When i bought the feroza with a blown up motor, id had a pod filter installed and did not come with the std filter setup. I bought a std filter setup from the wreckers as the pod filter is no good for $WDing when water is ...

Re: Can anyone help with Extended shackles for Feroza Wide b
Great thanks for the pics. It looks like each side of the shackle (flat plate) is straight up and down ... is that only because you can't see top of shackle in photo? My shackles are wider where they bolt on the chassis than where they bolt on the leaf spring. If yours are the same as mine. how did ...

Can anyone help with Extended shackles for Feroza Wide body?
Hey all, I've only just joined up to this board and have spent hours skimming through old posts trying to find information on extended shackles. Can anyone help me with this? I was planning on making a set but then when i had a look at the std ones, i noticed they are not straight pieces of metal as ...
