I've just got some of this magnum compound from Autobalance and unlike most males followed the instructions supplied and put it into some 35" Marshalls Mud Tyres that just would balance up.
I've removed all the external lead weights from the last balance, placed the compound into the tyres and the ...

I don't think the Gq bearings are the problem the issue is the alloy locking tabs are very weak when you start running larger tyres on the trucks the bend and allow the locking nuts to loosen off
The GU set up runs two solid steel plates with heaps of holes in them One screws down on the stub axel ...

The quickest and simplist way to increase the preload on your swivel hub bearings is pull one shim out of each bearing and if the problem goes away your swivle hub bearings are on their way out.
Hope that helps

I've got one in the front of my GQ and it seems to work well. The diff must come out of a v6 Navara I think from late 80's to 2002 the ARB part number is RD78A or RD24 must be 31 spline I think not 27.
Hope that helps

The headlights seemed to turn off after being on highbeam for a while with the spotties on and then flick on and off intermittedly no matter what I do with the switch.
I've replace the switch from the wreckers thinking that's the only common thread to both the lights but it hasn't changed a thing ...

Does any one out there have a wiring diagram for a GQ Patrol.
My Head Lights keep on turning off for no reason at all. I want to know if they have a thermal overload as I've hook the driving lights to come on with the high beams though still switched seperately.
Thanks

My computer is either set up on a home made bracket on the centre consol of my GQ or the 100 series we use to have or if I've got a Navi (brave Boy) I'v made a bracket to hang off the Jesus Christ bar in front of the front passenger seat. I run an inverter on the dash board, better that than those ...

I run an old magellan and a cheap laptop with Ozi explorer and once set up have found it extremely reliable. The MAPS I use are VIC 250K and are fairly accurate. As far as I know the mouse GPS should have the same reception as a normap GPS.

Thanks for that Turps stupid me didn't realise the Forum had a search option I do know now. It looks like if the diff centre is a 31 spline it will work in the front of the Gq (same arb locker part number)
