Has anyone put Patrol diffs under a Hilux? I heard that the front diff pumpkin doesn't fit the chassis real well, is this true? Does anyone have any photos?
How about landcruiser diffs? Do they have the same problem?

There is another thread on this site where someone claims that the GU is the stronger axle.
It appears to me, according to this thread, that the H260 is the strongest and that this can be found in MQ's, am I just confused?

What is the strongest Patrol diff setup and what do I get it from?

What is available in terms of aftermarket diff ratios?
I'm planning on running the diffs with 35's in a 1uzfe powered Hilux and was thinking of a lower ratio, like 4.88:1 or something.
Are there quality aftermarket units?

Hi, I'm wanting to do a diff swap and I'm wondering if anyone has manuals etc. that list the different ratios and widths found in different models.
Also, I have heard that the GQ diffs were stronger than the GU and than Landcruiser diffs, is this true?
