They won't replace it and we just have to wait and see how it comes back from being painted, what ekse can we do?
Could be worth taking some of the internal trim out to check for rust, thanks for the tip.

Nissan are painting the affected areas, the car is in the panel shop now. I have been pushing for a new car, it's not a good advert having rust in a new vehicle. We will have to wait and see. They claim that they will honor the warranty including the paint, lets see if they match the color correctly ...
