Bud, of all people you should know that 4x4's have frames.
It may be NEW, but just remember that even your Lux and 4Runner were new once too.
Thanks for the advice, I will probably end up just putting hooks where ever I like.
Have you had that tail shaft replaced yet?

Sure, fair statement. You can't buy experience. I am just trying to get the best advice whilst trying to visualise my Jimny getting "Snatched" rather than "Towed". Got that right. I wouldnt use the tie down points for anything. They look far too piss weak for snatching.
Would anybody have any pics of mods as replacements these points?

I have intensions not to do any major modding to it. I am using it for some light bush work and mainly beach runs.
Some methods of creating a strong recovery point, both front and rear is all I am after at the moment.

I am more familiar with the more modern zook 4x4's and I have one question...
How much does the Sierra chassis differ from the new Jimny chassis
This is in regards to length, the accessibility of bolt on points and overall strength.

Yep definitly the channels on the roof and in some cases, the joints in the tailgate on the hardtop.
