Put in an 8A80 from the Dignity. 4.5 litres of V8 Mitsi muscle would be great. Better than 206KW from the factory with the three catalytic converters fitted.

I think that your last comment is most likely what the problem was. Not to worry, one day I'll get around to doing the 3000GT motor transplant. You know, the one with the big supercharger instead of twin turbos.

Valves are almost new. Very little carbon left after a carbon clean treatment. Timing is spot on. Compression has been raised slightly. The fire rings show no signs of detonation or heat stress. The heads were torqued down with a calibrated Warren and Brown. The fire rings have split which has ...

The Mono-torques have arrived!! :) Well almost.... The bloke behind the counter forgot to order the parts for two days. Then when they turned up, he'd only ordered one head gasket and not the two I had asked for. But wait for it... the one that turned ...

My NH cracked in the same place but horizontally. I took it to a mate who is a prof welder and like SJ said, a nice row of short welds to hold it together, and a couple of runs to seal it up. It's been 4 to 5 years since it's been done and no leaks. If you do it yourself, just don't let it get too ...

Hey there klrevo.

I've just got some of the genuine packing spacers under the bars/above the roof mounts. I set it up so that it sits lower to the front but it's not noticeable.

Don't all wacky sticks fit in the palm of your hand??? ;) ;)

Hey klrevo, I've been running three Rino Utility bars for a while. I usually only have ladders, timber, quickshade etc up top. I usually kneel on the rear bar to wash the front roof area and lights and have never found the roof to feel dodgy. The mounts for these bars are pop-riveted into the roof ...

It could also be from a leaking waterpump. If you do a quick search you should find a few other links that will discribe similar symptoms.

Hello Grumpy... I shat a coil and ended up with a Bosch unit a few years ago. Direct bolt on, seems to be a great unit. Had to replace a newish set ( under six months old ) of T-PGUN leads because they started arcing like crazy. On with a set of Bosch leads and all's been sweet since. I didn't ...
