My injector pump is leaking from an eye shaped plate on the side of the pump. Is it just an O ring or something that needs to be replaced or something more sinister?

G'day everyone, I have a steering wobble that I think is comming from my steering box. There is prob 10mm play in the box and it has a slight knocking noise in it when I turn it. should the noise be there and how much play is normal? went on a little trip on the weekend and noticed that whenever I accelerated hard the truck would start to cough a bit at around 3k. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

88 GQ LWB with about 220k on the clock.

go a York or other A/C compressor and turn that into an air compressor! works a treat! and is pretty inexpensive depending on your level of complexity. hey mate - got any pics? This idea sounds like the go, you would get 100% duty cycle (I'd be thinkin) and I guess you would get pretty god volume ...
