Why are you guys spending bucks on the Lockrights, when the Aussie Locker is much better? I have two in my 80 series and have busted two rear shaft (semi-floaters) with them and they have no damage at all. These are used all over around here and they are hands down the best/toughest lunchbox locker ...

They are mechanically the same, but the sector shaft from the 105 has a larger diameter at the splines than the 80. You would be going backward on strength. Good luck.

Here in the states there is an upgrade to the sector shaft. It is the one from the 105. You do however need to get the upgraded matching pitman arm aswell. It fits right in your 80 series box. How much are replacement boxes down there? My 80 steering is getting hard and the rebuild/seal kit did not ...
