I would not just solder them, a bit of heat and vibration and it could let go. If you wont to solder them crimp them first and use heat shrink not tape as the tape will come off with water, dirt and heat.

I have a hj45 with a rusty chassis and have only been able to find fj chassis thinking the tray and body mounts would be the same, just more worried about the motor and gearbox mounts, would thay be that hard to change if thay are different?

have no power to the fuel pump on a frontera sports can not get a manual today so was wondering if anyone knows what fuse/relay runs the fuel pump or have a wiring diagram you can send me.

Yep still have the main part of the fan shroud on but not the small part on the bottom and did flush the engine and heater out when I had the radiator done. How do you chack if the water pump is working properly? as I have been wondering if its not woking properly and that is the problem.

I have a bit of a overheating problem with my hilux Ln106 running 7.5psi boost, when the motor is working hard towing a camper or going up a long hill it starts to get hot if I stop and let it idle the temp will come down to normal pretty quick, driving it around town or on the highway is fine. Just wondering if anyone knows how much gas should be put into a a/c unit of a 96 d/cab hilux, as when i got it regased the guy put the same amount back in as what he got out, the system seems to run very hot but still cools the car allright.

Where do you connect a boost gauge up to on a 2.8L hilux as the instructions say to connect it to the vacuum system on the intake manifold but there is no vac system on the on the intake?
