A frame options
Just wondering what options there are for getting a bolt in A frame for the GU rear. I know that Wizard do one, anyone else? Any experences? Have got decent articulation with the suspension at the moment but want to eliminate the lateral movement as it articulates because the driveshaft hits the ...

Who can weld/repair fuel tanks (Brisbane)
I managed to do a bit of damage to my auxillary fuel tank on the weekend when the driveshaft uni joint caught the corner and tore a hole in it. I could do with getting it modified for a bit more driveshaft clearance - ie. cut and re-welded. Can anybody recommend a place in Brisbane that can weld ...

Securing handbrake cable with non factory trailing arms
I have just replaced the lower rear trailing arms (control arms) on my 2003 GU Petrol. The handbrake cable was attached to the original trailing arms by a bracket that was welded on, i think it was to secure the cable and also prevent it frm getting nipped against the chassis when the wheels are ...

Towbar drop hitch - where to buy (Brisbane)
Can anyone tell me the best place to go to buy a drop hitch in Brisbane, either off the shelf or custom length. Need to lower the ball height about 250-300mm from standard tongue.

As people have said either shave your axles or get the spider gear pins changed. ARB sell the parts to do the pin change which is the best solution (ARB may even fit it for you or recommend someone who can). I shaved my axles by about 5mm per side and never had any problems but if I broke a CV I ...

My old ute had one. Cut the bonnet to suit, screwed it down, minor bit of panel work, bog and paint to make it look like it was meant to be there. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p288/uqunder10s/TOM470/2006_0124_intercooler_0020.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p288/uqunder10s/TOM470/2006 ...

Rattle inside GU hood lining
I recently purchased a used GU with an Outback roof console fitted. There is an annoying rattle coming from the hood lining right beside the drivers sun visor. Does anyone have any experience of what it might be or how to fix it? As I didn't fit the console I am unsure about how it removes and when ...

Had a good night, big thanks to the Logan Club, the organisers and all the helpers for putting the night on. Maps were good - we found our way from start to end without too many dramas. Overall it was a fairly short run with nothing too hard. CP3 turned out to be more difficult than it looked, CP4 ...

Just got back from watching some of todays action. Plenty going on. Kym Bolton was quickest on stage 1 which I think was used to put teams in to groups. Kym later snapped a radius arm in 2 places on stage 3 and I think might have spent some time on his side after it let go. It was repaired before I ...
