Would you tell me how to do this?Micka wrote:Its only impossible if you don't know how to make a high clearance track rod.
Very interesting thing. Are there interchangeable Rover parts available?
Thanks

A 60 series center is a low pinion diff and can not be used on a Rover housing.Micka wrote:Have you given any thought to splicing a 60 series centre into the Rangie housings?
Only a center pinion or a high pinion diff are possible because the track rod is in the way.
Nissan front center is the go!

Re: Radiator electrolysis
Hi.
The Holden Gen3/4 are alloy engines and use an alloy radiator with plastic sides.
You should use red coolant for this engines.
Maybe it is just Chevy that needs it or it is because the material of radiator and engine.
Never thought about a voltage difference in the coolant - maybe just earth ...

Re: Suspension packages
If you are using the visco fan, you will need to relocate the radiator, because the shroud wont fit any longer.
After relocating the radiator, the shroud in the front wont fit any more...
Better would be to leave the radiator on his original position and use two thermo fans instead.

Re: range rover 1988 350 chev carby best cooling set up?
Thermo fans are better than visco fans in my oppinion.
- more fan surface on the radiator (dual setup possible)
- an override is possible to turn them off for water crossing and turn them perm on for towing etc.
- they dont take much power of the engine
With BA thermos and a big radiator should be ...

Re: Wheel base
Hmm - i think there is no perfect wheelbase. It depends always what size of tyres you want to run.
The wheelbase avarage in TT10 was 107" so far i remember.
It will be every year a bit more. Not long and we will reach the US standard anyway.
But 113+" wheelbase is asking for 40"+ tyres.

Re: VY / VZ LS1 SHIFT LIGHT????
The shift light is deactived on Holdens and it is not wired in.
You just have to put an extra wire in the pcm and that is your ground for your light.
Now you have just to actived the shift light in the PCM via hptuner etc.
