Stock tank is pretty small. Dunno how big it is but can't be more than 70 litres. Fuel consumption is... in a word... scary. Best i've ever done out of a tank is 400Km. Most of the time, i get about 350Km. Don't know how much it would be when towing but i can't imagine it being crash hot. Also, the ...

Bad Rangie Interior
My GF cousin bought a Range Rover bout 2 months and since then the center console had start to move around a bit but just after coming back from a trip to Adelaide, all the center console area has become shocking. It all moves about heaps and is worried it'll fall apart. Is this a common problem ...

I read this about the BFG Muds on a 4x4 website
www.skips4x4.com.au (lots and lots of good 4WD photos)
He fitted them to his Hilux and he got 70000km's out of them, new tread pattern ones, with only one puncture, 20% tread left.
They can't be that bad if he got that much out of them.

Get the BFGs or the STTs or maybe even some Maxxis Mud terrains (cheaper & same pattern as BFGs) for what you want to do with the disco they should be fine. The Maxxis Mud Terrains don't have the same tread pattern but it does has a similar apperance. I remeber reading in 4WD Monthly about how they ...

im not too sure, i know simex JT2's are illegal, some simex are not bias ply, like my simex super trekkers. but micky thompson claws are legal (radial claws i mean). Under the ADR's it is illegal to fit a bias ply tyre to a vehicle not originally offered with them by the manufacturer. So ALL BIAS ...

Axle swap
I'm currently putting together different plans for my first 4WD and one of the ideas i though up was that i could buy a toyota hilux surf or 4runner, like a 1995 model or something WITH IFS. There should be lots of them that haven't gone offroad at all thus in good condition. What i wanna do is get ...
