It may help if you say why you'd like to shorten it as there may be an easier/cheaper way of getting the same result such as a bell housing spacer. Try Marks adapters. I have a muffler on Mav Wagon with a DTS turbo. Originally had just straight through 3" with no mufflers but it was way too loud and had a loud drone at part throttle, under load.
