have seen a few builds in the states, where they cut out the sills and weld in the sliders as part of the body.

has anyone done this or know of one done, and has it worked out ok?

it seems like a fair idea, but im not sure about the strength.

hopefully the wife dosnt read this :oops: just over 4 years and its not even going, but just about. no way im gonna try and list all the bits just over $40k made a rough estimate of just all the consumables, ( not actual parts ), like grinding disks, welding rods, drill bits, cans of paint, etc etc ...

is it the small vac line, or the larger one held in with the bolt, as mine just has the bolt.

excuse my ignorance, but do i need to run the vacum line to the brake booster?

i have an 80 series brake booster and master cylinder, and a 1UZ engine.
where does the vacum line go onto the engine?

i used a tank from a GU, with pump in the tank, and just used a standard soarer filter.
