Hey mate thanks for the reply i started pulling it appart as i posted it it ended up being the timing belt locater/retainer washer infront of the crank pulley for the timing belt.... Who ever the clown was who replaced the timing belt must of left it out so it ended up costing me $7 in the end for ...

Hi all new to forum,just a quick one i have a 93 hilux 3l 2.8 td hilux the bottom of timing cover has moved out and is rubbing on balancer all the way around all bolts are still in what holds cover in around balancer/crank what are possible causes.
