Have to tell you after stuffing around with the Hiflo injectors for months on end I decided to get my origional ones rebuilt with genuine parts.
What a differance. Genuine is better than cheap made in China sxxt.
Also much improved mileage from 13 to 10.7 lp100k's

We were going some where to 4WD but the track was closed due to the bush fires I think.
I remember we came out on the Canberra Batemans Bay road.

Yep, Been doing a bit of work on the Surf & got it down to 10.2 litres per 100 k's. Better than the 14 it used to do.
Really am sorry I traded Roza on the Surf.
Love that Avatar, was as close as I've ever come to being upside down. Jacksons lane was where it was taken.

Years ago it was common to use a product called Redex Upper Cylinder Lubricant to do a quick decoke on petrol engines. Remove the plugs, give a good squirt of Redex, let it soak for a while and then start the motor and squirt large amounts of Redex into the carby.
It worked. Plenty of smoke and ...

Reckon if you fit more than one Hiclone it may be possible to pump fuel back into the bowser.
And my Feroza will do the standing quarter in 6 seconds.

Hi Guys,
My Toyota Surf diesel is useing a fair amount of engine oil. About 1 litre per 5000k's. It didn't use much oil before I did a trip to Darwin & return a few months ago, days on end at steady engine speeds.
Before I went I changed the oil to a friction modified oil and my mechanic tells ...

Brian, The main reason I'm doing the Glow Plugs other than the fact I'll have removed the induction tubing etc to replace the Injectors at the time is.
I live in Gladstone Qld and my Surf always starts within 1 second of the key turning. Always warm up here. I was also in PNG for 6 years and ...

Fitted the new Vacuum pump and still got the problem. Managed to trace the leak and it seems to be in the smaller line which goes under the throttel body. Maybe this line goes to the EGR valve. I've blocked it off for the time being to see how it goes. Will see about fitting a extra vacumm tank to ...

It wasn't doing it yesterday, pulled the booster out and had it tested. OK.
Pulled the Alternater out and getting it serviced with a near new vacuum pump fitted.
It got soo every time I used the brake the low vacuum brake light came on. Bit of a worry driving like that.
