(And IMHO, if you really must ruin a sierra, use 60 series or MQ patrol diffs, they're a better option than hilux. the hilux trend only exists because yanks did it first and everyone else just copied - they're not the best option)

i run 36in iroks at 4psi and am yet to roll one off on 8in rims, but have rolled them off at 3psi. So i think the theory of 1psi higher than the roll off pressure might ring true :D

A lux diff swap says that as a minimum you will be running 33s so I would also look into getting some sort of power steering system as it will suck without it.

Standard lux tie rod will do but you may need to get a draglink made up depending on what you do with your steering.

Personally, I would ...

I agree with Steve. Have you considered a TBI setup of a smaller motor, such as a mazda 121. Look in the bible under Rhetts injection. Other option if vitara single point injection, but $$$$ can be scary. You can try it, as the stuff is free, but IMHO it will not be worth the hassle.

hi v840 (nice avatar!)
i was under the impression standard fuel lines should be ok as TBI only requires 24 - 30psi. i was going to upgrade the fuel return line as the vl pump will be pumping too much fuel and the reg should divert it straight back to the tank.
i run TBI off nissan pulsar on my 4k ...
