front shaft only and at transfer case end. The angle from the front diff is usually close to zero after installing a lift that warrents the d/c So the joint at that end runs at constant speed. It's at the transfer case end you have the large angle and the changing rotational speeds. hence D/C requir...

Yep. perfect and has been for years now. Oh and I meant double cardan, not cardon The D/C , double cardan is a constant velocity joint. a normal uni joint speeds up and slows down during every revolution. (unless it is running no angle at all) If the angle the shaft makes at the diff and the angle a...

Air suspension.
I'm sure there is something on this but for some reason search is not working.
Just want to know basics... Is it good offroad...Does it reduce articulation and what sort of lift can you get. Also approx price.
If someone could give a simple answer that would be good or show us a link.
Cheers steve.

HID 80 watts
Is anyone running the 80 watt HID's.
I have heard that there is almost a zero failure rate with the 50 watt kits but there have been a few break in the 80 watt kits.
Can't decide between 80 and 50 watts.
Higher would be better but I want them to last.

Thanks heaps for that. the front pully/clutch is still on. Last atempt was on the weekend. I got the nut off and expected the pully/clutch to come off realy easy. It didn't although I didn't try that hard as I though something else must be holding it on. Will have another attempt this weekend. Mine ...

How old is the vehicle. If it is relatively new has no chips or paint missing then I believe that no treatment is the best and just a good wash after you finish. An untreated vehicle is much easier to keep clean. My 80 series hits the beach every few weeks in sumer and fraser about 5 times a year. I...
