I'm after a good radiator shop in the north of Sydney after my usual guy passed away recently.

Re: Hilux extra cab strength
As said, that model of hilux left the factory with IFS so I would get the model after. Bit more power and more comfortable.
In terms of strength though, never had issues. Just my 2 cents.

If you plan on jumping the hell out of the thing then it's possible.
They have a longer chassis so I can see where they are coming from.
What are the plans for it?

Re: Cooper A/T3
I have a set of AT3's on the hilux. Mostly daily driven but when she goes off road I am not kind to her. Never had any trouble from them. Them have lasted quite well and handle whatever I throw at them. They aren't a masive fan of the mud but that's a given. Really nice and quiet on the road to the ...

Re: Hilux Dilemma
For a patrol on gas your options are gq all work done for around 13000 to 15000 on gas, gu for around the same but fairly stock on gas. Landcruiser 80 anywhere from 10000 to 15000 on gas in my area (sydney, penrith) 100 series from 15000 to 20000 on gas with minor mods. My personal pick would be a ...

Re: twin transfer case question.
I am sure i saw a link somewhere showing how to use the existing parts in your forward shifting case to convert it into a top shift.
Will try track this down.
Might save you some coin.

Re: Hilux IFS Graft
Sorry I should have clarrified, after IFS. Looked at converting to solid and liked the job that bud did, but wanted to keep the IFS. I am sure they are quite different but i'm not sure yet if anyone has looked at doing this conversion. A prerunner style kit I was referring to is one that is aimed at ...

Hilux IFS Graft
Currently own a LN106 and looking at newer hilux for daily duties and play. I am yet to see a kit that I am after. Looking for a prerunner style kit with much better travel than the aussie kits offer. I want it engineered in NSW and the new laws seem a bit tough to get around. Was possibly thinking ...

Re: ln106 dual cab ute tub
I put one on mine a while back. Personally I think it looked like crap. Might have been the one dude lux saw as i picked up some gear from him. I ended up chucking it and getting the correct tub. They don't line up real well, I made custom brackets but it can be done. Just wait for the right model ...
