Thanks for the congrats.
It is encouraging to know that others also get pleasure from the Hybrid project.
Regarding building a similar project. It can certainly be done on a budget.
Bill has achieved remarkable results in the past on an absolute shoestring budget. His 6x6 (see seperate ...

Thanks for the congrats guys.
I have not seen the article yet - hope to get the mag tomorrow.
Cheers

Hi All,
I have been following these topics with interest.
Wilsby, a picture is worth a thousand words, any chance of sketching your ideas and scanning and posting them?

Hi All
Good to see the interest in the crawler box.
The Quadratrac unit is robust and not subject to failure on the Jeep.
Therefore they are readily available since they are not sought after as spares.
However, when I was sourcing for the Hybrid I phoned several Jeep parts specialists and ...

Hi All
Finally got the video of Bill's 6WD up and running.
As I said the video is poor quality. A copy of a copy of a copy of an early 1980's original video.
Bill can provide a commentary on the proceedings.

Ben
The early drive testing was done offroad at my farm. We had a variety of gullies and rugged terrain to test the articulation and general workings of the concept.

Sorry if this has slowed things ...

I finally made it onto the forum.
I must say it is very informative - what have I been missing?
Great to see so much interest in the Hybrid and good to see that your extensive expertise and knowledge is being widely sought.
If there is an interest I can dig out some of the photos ...
