Be caeful to remember that migs are difficult to use in the wind,so if your welding outside like i do it becomes a lot harder.Try (hire) before you buy.

I lost all drive but when I think about it I'm pretty sure it could go either way it just depends if the spring and ball allows the selector fork to go in or out slightly.The ball bearing rides on top off or half way up the indent.Do what I did chuck a washer between the plug and spring to seat the ...

I have an '87 model sounding like similar problem.On the drivers side of transfer there is a nut in line with selecter rod. undo nut SLOWLY as there is a small spring and ball bearing that may pop out.That spring maintains tensionon the selector,have a look inside while someone moves 4x4 gear lever ...

I saw in the last couple of weeks a yank site that has a kit to change the transmission drum handbrake to a single disc brake in the same position it looked good and was fairly cheep from memory,only problem is I can't remember yhe site but I'll have a look

I made a 3" system 15yrs ago,Im just about to replace it with 3" again(worn out).What I do is buy straight pipe and a 3" donut cut wedges out of the donut weld to the pipe,I then have 3" from start to finish.Cost about $65 for donut & $20-30 for pipe.If you don't have a mig cut all the bits tape ...
