the unit is on the money for the mileage if it is manual with a decent service history. from what i have seen of late the timing belt should be done every 70000-80000k and can be done in about 4 hours if doing it yourself. getting a good landrover shop to do it will set you back between $400 and ...

my 97 v8i did the same thing not long after i bought it.

ended up it was the ignition amplifier module.

ran fine from that day on until i sold it...
