I currently have an 89 sr5 4runner with a 22r. I am in the process of putting a 3rz in it.
I bolted up the 3rz Bellhousing and the input shaft seems to be too short.
I took some measurements and the 3rz belhousing is about 10mm longer.
Has anyone else had this?

I was looking on the trail gear website and they have whole dif centres with new 5.29 ring and pinion as well as a detroit locker for $999. I am considering getting one. Hey everyone. Started my 3rz conversion today started sorting out the wirring.
Do I still need the emission control unit? I am leanning towards no but thought best to check.

because it hangs to low below the chasis rails. so if i am going to swap it i may as well get something that gives better clearance.

Thanks for the help guys. Has been resolved. Turns out it was the uni joints there was no play when i checked them first, I think they must have bound up. Woops.

Hey Guys I have an 89 4runner. When driving particulary at llower speeds around 40km/h the car vibrates. It is worst when deccelerating using engine braking. Have checked Uni joints and they are fine. Someone suggested maybe engine mounts. If so how do i check engine mounts. All help is greatly appr...
