Hi All Looking at a body lift for the jimny. Spoke to a guy who switched the lower & upper shims around and got a 2" raise without spending a dollar on parts. Do you guys reckon it's OK? If not what's should I be specifying for a 2" raise? What's the added advantage of 3" raise in term of tyre size ...

Trail Jimny I found the wire coming out of the tranny is lower then Serra's and rather exposed. What have you done with yours? The 3" Lift. How involve is it? From my research, anything above 2" requires: caster correctors, new pan head rods, drive shaft shims etc. Is that right? Looks like you do ...

Will definately run bigger tyres after the lift. The 215s are just to let me have some fun right now without spending big yet. Love the Jimny for round town use, cheap to buy & cheap on the fuel, especially with the current crude price situation... Hate it for it's poor handling. Guess the OEM ...

Hi Big Steve I have had my 1999 Jimny since Feb this year. Its an extreme model which has a few extras like tinted rear windows, ABS, Airbags & fog lights etc. Was pretty stock and I have since throw some 215/75 MT & wired up the radio for some play. Have tipped it on its side during the last outing ...

Jimny front Hub lock

Hi there
I am looking at installing a switch on the little truck to disable froint vac hub lock for some heavy yard work in low range. Has anyone done that before and could give us some advice?
