hey i have a courier 2wd dual cab and was wondering about compatability with the 4wd variant.
Does anyone know if 4wd leaves will bolt up?
Are 4wd torsion bars interchangable?
Reason I ask is that i dont need a 4wd but bog stock it looks too much like a mini truck...

Replacement front stone/bash guard for 2007 hilux
Has anyone made their own front bash guard for a current model Hilux?
We have 4 cars at work that need them replaced and I am thinking we might just be able to get some sheet folded and make them ourselves.
Hoping someone might have a pic for a bit of inspiration??
Thanks

Re: Sway bar.
I got a bar from 2Dextreme a few years back and the bar itself was a torsion bar from a pathfinder (according to the part # painted on it). Not sure if 2dextreme are still around or if they sell the same bars to suit patrols, but if they do id suggest you buy some sealed bearing pillow blocks and ...

It details Vic regs for cage design/installation - might be handy for you

I lived on the nsw/vic border and was tossing up what state to get my gq regoed/engineered in. My Eng told me my ccda cage would pass in vic but not nsw.. think it has something to do with whether it is bolted in or welded??

!!URGENT!! GME TX3340 UHF Batch Problem??
Hi has anyone bought one of these and found it had an intermittant fault?
Apparently the jobbies from the first batch have a prob where the volume level reduces (by more than half), and you need to turn it off and back on again for the volume to go back up.
Has anyone experienced this??
thanks

I was hoping some other people might chime in. same here Can you also check the resistance (ohms, Ω on your multimeter) between your battery negative terminal and: - the chassis/body - the engine - the starter motor body There should be almost zero resistance on all these showing on the multimeter. ...

If funds allow go coilovers because they are infinately adjustable in ride height spring rate & dampening. If you are gonna spend a weekend cutting & welding you might as well take the coilover option because there would be stuff all extra work in it. Nothing wrong with the std option though. weld ...

I need an exhaust system for my 5.0 into Gq ute conversion. URGENT: 5L to GQ wit HD clutch - GU clutch slave part #?
Has anyone used the Exedy Commodore sports tuff clutch (part # GMK-6334HD) in their conversion? I know marks say "just use std clutch" but I seem to recall that you could get away with a heavy duty clutch if you use a GU slave cylinder??? If anyone can shed light on this it would be massively ...
