ive got a safari turbo kit with a safari intercooler and it works well

not sure how much it would be to repair it but i think it might be cheaper to buy a second hand door with no rust then u dont need to worry about colour matching paint

any diff shop will have them and ive also seen people make them out of a milo tin lid and ebay also have them and if u look in the patrol section or do a search theres a how to thread that shows u how to do it and wat size shims to use.good luck

i rang toyota australia 1 week ago and the said that the original was the gl4 80w-90 but has now been changed to 75-90 or a straight 80 gl-5 and vmx is a castrol product and on there website lube guide it says to use multitrax 80w-90 gl-5 and agri is for heavy machinary like plant and farm equipment ...

uve got no chance kyle u will need a suspesion lift and maybe a bodylift to fit 35s and maybe a bit of a guard chop,i reckon u should stick with toyotas mate and dont worry u will never unstand its a jeep thing

You just put that fitting in any of the turbo charges pipes. (after the turbo, but before the inlet manifold) Preferably after the intercooler but it should only make .5-1psi difference anyway. Since you should have a boost gauge before you started playing with it, dosen't look like there is any adjustment if it's boosting too much/not enough. Is there another part (bleed valve) that's not pictured to allow for this ? thats how it was setup wen i bought it so thought id fit a boost guage ...

That setup is to increase boost pressure. The wastegate springs on those things are very soft hence the constant bleed off back to the vacuum side. Theres no restrictor in the hose its just a hose.if i block the hole in the air intake and just run a hose from the turbo to the wastegate will anything be affected?will it run to much boost?

so just run from the turbo to the actuator?will i have any problems with fuel or exhaust gas temperatures?

that is exactly wat i thought to and i have a boost guage on its way.but remove the pipe that is fed into the air intake before the turbo will this raise the exhaust gas temperature by any chance?or cause any damage to the engine at all? cheers

i had this happen in mine and it was the radius arm where it joins at the chassis end the thread was striped.just make sure everythings super tight
