Yep 48 point turn and 2L of fuel.
The other option is a diesel jk with 35s and lots of fruit. nicer to drive but i wouldn't be as carefree when off the tracks and i do like the ute function.

70s era F100 for offroading
Hi gents and gentesses, I am selling the Landcruiser and looking for a work truck / mud truck. Having looked around, I’ve found myself drawn to early model F100s and F150s – namely 1977-1979 models. I know the 351c engines are thirsty (350km/100L petrol) if not converted, but I really don’t know much ...

Temporary 2" springs in a 4.5" kit - side effects?
Hi all, i've got my eye on a vehicle for sale with a 4.5" lift with full front /rear lower control arms, panhard rods, sway bar links and heavy duty sway bar. Obviously because of this it's not in a roadworthy condition. My question is: If you were to temporarily put 2" springs/shocks into this ...

Re: IFS vs Live axle
go solid axle. I went ifs to start with a 4runner and found that when i switched to the 105 cruiser it was chalk and cheese offroad. also no real difference on the road esp when running bigger tyres.

Re: best gps for 4wding?
I have a Garmin Nuvi which i uploaded with shonkymaps - awesome free maps. We used this to get to Cape York and back for 3 weeks - i also had two other versions of mapping software but found shonkymaps was more accurate and easier to read. Also it's free! Great if you have a standard 'road only' gps ...
