Yeah not too sure what happened to mine but it was destroyed, gave the gearbox mob the go ahead to rebuild it today so should hopefully be ready when I get home just in time for the trip down south

The vehicle it came out of had done 330000 km but i believe it had been pulled out and rebuilt by a previous owner at some time.
It didn't appear there was anything wrong with it, shifted fine then all of a sudden lost fourth gear and started clunking.

Anyone had a 80 series manual gearbox beefed up before?
I've got a 93 factory turbo with a bit of work that's pushing 150 rwkw and 500 nm of torque and my gearbox has said enough is enough.

So what other block could you use if you don't think the stock block is up to the task?
Also why would you make a custom exhaust manifold when the standard one is doing the job?
I'm not sure if you would get 200hp out of a 1HDT at 18psi boost but I imagine if you tried to the AFR's would be through ...
