do the gu 4.8l pettys have bigger brakes then gq's????
if so will they swap onto a gq ???? has it been done or tried????

ok what about cars with existing certificates. will they just be exempt from the new rules or will their certificates be worthless

my mate has a gq shorty. 6" springs 2" body and 35s. all engineered. a fair while ago,

also a mate with a hilux. atleast 6" lift and 35s all engineered

same, engin swap to 5 liter v8 and ute chop he said yep go for it. . . . .
6 inch lift. . . .ooooooo fu#k no. 4 inch total lift and 33s only.

il try another place. . . . . .

so i rang the engineer today and he said 4 inch is the highest i can go and up to 33s
is this the case with all engineers or just this bloke?????

has anyone recently got something with 6 inch springs passed?????

does any body know the width from end to end of a gq rear diff, from one face where the rim sits to the other. planning a trailer build and thinking il make it the same width as the troll. and i dont feel like jacking it up and pulling both 35s off with only my hilift for one measurement :finger: so ...

yeah but fu#k crash boxing it the whole way 3ookms home, im getting drive but no cluch pedle, dad seems to think the clutch plate has rusted to something when it sat overnight. hmmm the fork doesnt rebound at all it just sits at the back of its hole, il have another fu#k with it later, but iv only ...

so my clutch has fu#ked up, its gotta come apart, i dont have a shed or the lifting gear so im looking for a good mechanic in newcastle that wont muck me around.

ok my tb42 carby is having some wierd clutch issues. symptoms as follow slipping like a bitch it seems that the slave in forcing its self out like im pushing the peddle down,but all the time i can push it back to take the load off the clutch fork but it just pushes itself back and runns continuously ...

nah i just bashed it flat and sent it back in for another round, so i really dont know what was happening, both side wheels the tabs where bent over. and the good side was full of water

i had a hilux with a rebuilt 2.4 diesel, with the tubo of a 3.0l gu on it, running 18 psi. i had the blue smoke problem!!! not bad just enough to pick it threw the black smoke. the way it all worked out with the custom turbo setup was that my oil return didnt drop down immediately. so overnight oil ...
