Hi cbsickboy, Sorry for my late reply Looking back at the price for everything, it would be way too expensive to manufacture again. I spent ~ $1500 and that was without machining labour. The machine shop also supplied some material and a hydraulic power pack was donated. Machining and the power pack ...

Maybe you should have asked a few more q's! but it does look like you did some nice work!! i can retofit SAW shocks for under $350 each giving 10"-18" of lift on demand!! this is a vid of our initial test, the higher you go the stiffer and more stable they get. Nice, but kinda pointless on ...

Its been a long time since an update, so I thought I would do one. As of today, the hydraulic system is installed. I have spent the last few weekends pulling the car apart and chucking the hydraulic cylinders in. http://www.whiteovergreen.com/uni/OL/Hyd/IMG_2740%20(Medium).JPG Over the summer uni ...

Replacement Rear Bump Stop (Inside Coil)
Has anybody managed to find a good place to get some replacement bump stops. I’ve tried a few suspension shops and they all say no. Rang Mitsi spare parts and they want $191.20 each. http://whiteovergreen.com/uni/OL/Bump.JPG I’m after the rubber stop inside the coil. Any help would be good as, I don’ ...

Hi Darren, welcome to outerlimits, From what i know the models with a 3.5 engine had a factory body lift. They needed more room to fit the bigger engine in. Sooo..... i guess you could install a body lift, get the room you need and then chuck the 3.5 in there. Not sure about anything with mounting ...

Thanks for the reply NJV6, The car was stationary. this could be my problem. I ripped out the rear springs in trying to install the rear cylinders ages ago, but didn’t want to go ahead with the installation until I made sure the front worked. The car is up on stands atm. Thanks for your suggestion, ...

Swaybar Affecting Suspension lift > Question
Ok long story short. I am making a hydraulic suspension lift for my paj. Was doing a bit of testing today and was a little disappointed with the outcome. The hydraulic cylinder works fine, where I’m running into trouble is the lift I am getting out of the car. Talking about the front (Independent S ...

Just to finish of the topic I spoke to the certifying engineering that will be looking at the hydraulic components when they go on. He said that an elastomer is not acceptable, and that I may use a ferrous or non ferrous metal (aluminium or steel). I’m happy with this, I now have no choice but to u ...

Bump Stop Mounting Holes < Help Needed
Hi all, Probably a weird question, but I was wondering if anybody has access to the bump stop mount on the rear of a Gen II Paj. (shown in the pic below). I’m really just after the position of the mounting bolts so I can copy them for a part I have to make up. I have tried getting the measurements ...

Body lift induced Vehicle Roll + Block Material Questions
Hi all, I’m working on a hydraulic 2 inch lift at the moment and have run into snags with clearance issues between the suspension mounts and the body. Therefore a body lift might be necessary. My concern is the body roll induced as a result of the height. The plan of the project is to only have the ...

Thanks for the replies. I currently don’t have a dual Battery system installed at the moment, so everything will go in fresh. Part wise, my dad is an electrician (240V – Industrial) so I was hoping to get the relays and such through his company. Ill just buy the isolator from somewhere else. I ha ...
