Just got some prices from Iowa usa using exact locker part numbers. BOTH lockers delivered to door for $1000.00 each

Thanks squeeky 1983 . I got similiar tjm quote up here on sunshine coast .I have looked at nearly all lockers now and similar to you decided now and wait till i have the cash for air lockers.

Dirty Rockstar did you import your locker or buy locally. I have been doing heaps of research on prices in oz and all about $1200.00 just for locker.

Thanks Rod. My 100 series is not a daily driver and i thought if a auto lokka didnt affect tyre wear and handling too drastically i might install one in the rear and a air locker in front later on.

oldmate the lokka i was asking about is a new one from 4wd systems designed to replace factory lsd. It was in 4wd action 164 that is why i was curious to know if anyone has used one and how it would go both off and on road. cheers.

yeh scanas i have lsd and a two inch lift with 33 wrangler mtrs. I was thinking of front locker originally but guy at 4wd shop said that they chew cvs. maybe that has to do more with driving style than what he said.

Scanas yeh i was looking at the basic compressor since i have a new tyre compressor which they tell me could be converted to run a rear locker but the conversion of the compressor would cost more than buying the basic locker compressor.

thanks scanna. Thats the way i thought i would have to go .I will have to save some bucks. ARB and tjm have both quoted me $2000.00 with compressor all fitted just for rear one.Eaton e lockers about same price.

Mine is a gxl petrol constant 4wd .The lokkas are $525.00+ fitting.

Has anyone installed a Lokka from 4wd systems to the rear of a 100 series landcruiser and if so what is their performance off road like and their handling on road like. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
