hey guys im asking this question for a mate, ive searched the forum and couldn't really find any decent info on putting a 2.4td into an 83 hilux with the 3y engine. we understand it will be a bit of mucking around but he has come across the engine/gearbox etc for really cheap and is keen to do this ...

ive got a 3" body lift with 31 muddies on 15x7 -15 offset..i hammered that inside lip up and dont have any issues with scrubbing, i no some people will say its a waste of lift with no more flex but it keeps the centre of gravity relatively low which i seem to like, still goes everywhere i point it.

steering dampener vs return to centre??

hi guys i have a 96 coily and ive been looking to fit a dampener as they dont come with one, my question is will the rtc be a pain in the ass offroad? as i would have to fighting against it everytime i want to crawl left or right over some ruts and rocks etc...and therefore just the straight tuff ...
