if you are fitting a after market ...

Re: HJ75 Dual Fuel Tanks - Mysterious Behaviour

i have seen the breather block up on the 75s and then they suck the tank in to around the 55ltrs before then bend the pickup so they only use 45 ltrs so just drop the tank and check the pick up and while its out check all the breather lines aswell..its worth a try .i had to do it to mine ..

Re: 7.4v winch motors

they dont have the torque of a warn 6hp
a genuine warn 6hp is good on 12 v and very torquey on 24volt but you just have to learn how to use them on 24 as they are easy to kill

Re: Winch power cable

for the winch the isolater works best on positive side if it is a 24 volt system i would put it between the two batts and for engine it goes on positive side but you have to kill the charge cable aswell

Re: Winch power cable

you dont need any more then a normal isolater . the 2 pole ones are all you need for deisel or petrol .all that you need to do is exactly wat horndog said .you have to kill the charge cable aswell as main battery feed that way the motor cant source the power from anywere ..

do a compression test more than likely it will be a valve burnt out .. or a colapsed valve seat.. very common problem with the 1fz motor . it is even more common when they are on gas .... gas is for BBQS not cars hahahaha
