Jackaroo recall

For those not aware a new recall is out on the turbo diesel. Apparently affects all models from 98 to 04. They will replace all injectors on these cars free of charge. About time too.

cats on diesels

both my jackaroo (1999) and rodeo (2002) have cats in them from factory. Apparently not necessary as commercials dont need them by law, but thats the way they came from japan.

from memory bolts on jackaroo were 10mm by 150mm at 1.25pitch thread. have just finished two shifter extensions, have got spare if you want.

after finally getting the new turbo on the jacka (two weeks wait) i now have a grinding noise from the drivers side brake. pretty sure just pad noise so has anyone done a replacement on a 98 model, no ABS. if so how hard and any info on pad type or part numbers? thanks.

good on ya noel! the car looks heaps better with the lift. i kept putting it off but one day just decided to do it and was pleasently suprised how easy it was. the hardest part was finding the longer bolts to fit the captive nuts on the rear end. my radiator shroud fell off when the lift was done ...

if you want to pull parts off the car i would be interested in some accessories. mainly the exhaust but also storage system and the torsion bars. have got original exhaust if you need another to replace it with. if the girl agrees maybe the roofrack and the airlocker and fuel tank. thanks
