Hilux Re-engine

Thought of that but id like some more power, i was thinking about a 3.0L Turbo from a newer Hilux, Surf or a Prado. Im just nort sure of the cost and ease of this sort of conversion.

Has anyone attempted this conversion.

Sound Proofing

I'm looking to try and lower the cabin noise in my cruiser. Does anyone know of a good product to use or of a company who does this sort of stuff? I have looked at the usual detailing mobs but they can really offer anything that is worth while or that effective. I live in the Territory and so I do ...

You can buy kits and they dont cost that much. I have seen some of them advertised for around $300 but I didn’t keep the mag they were advertised in. The ones I have seen work using a concentric bearing or bolt to adjust the camber & castor of each wheel. Has anyone seen these advertised?

Camber & Castor Adjuster Kits for a 1994 HZJ 75

Does anyone know where I can buy a Camber & Castor Adjuster kit. It is for a 1994 HZJ75. Also what is the best kit around as I know there are a few different types available and what kits is the most cost effective.

Thanks Sean

Extractors on a 1HZ engine

Has anyone had any experience with putting extractors onto a 1HZ engine?
Is it worth the cash?
Do they make any difference to the power and/or cabin noise?
What are they worth?

Thanks

For my 94 Troopy I was quoted $2200 for a complete center, new crown wheel & pinion, new bearings and the locker. The kit comes with all the plumbing, wiring and attaching hardware. The only other thing you need to buy is a compressor and a small tank.

It’s to go in the rear of a HZJ 75 turbo Troopy. The Standard LSD has gone tits up and the repair cost is crazy so I figured it’s a good time to upgrade.

Jack McNamara Air lockers

Has anyone bought or used one of these air lockers. Just after some feed back as to performance and life expectancy. How do they compare to the ARB equivalent?

Thanks
