The machining finish can let fuel leak past, and sometimes you need to give them a bit of a rub with some fine emery tape.

Cool, im aware about the difference in drivetrain - still not sure what im going to do about it though. Is the auto trans any different between the models? This truck is a gift from my father in law, personally i was looking at range rovers - but this is in the drive, and im starting to like the way ...

I have a NH (I think, its a 96) and with the 6G72 heads on the way out i was considering swapping out to the 6G74.
Would i be able to pick up a 6G74 from a magna, and bolt on all the bits from the 6G72 onto the 6G74 and have it fit?
