im wondering if any one could shed some light on some cheapish aftermarket seats for a ln106 hilux, i am 6.2 and find the currents seats terrible, the hilux is used only used every now and then when i get board of driving the patrol. ive tried searching google and come up with the ideas of ...

how do you know they are not glowing? check for the current going to the glow plugs? then work your way down the wiring down there from there

what about a 1HDFTE motor out of a toyota.
put aside all the nissan vs toyota crap and look at the basics.
its good strong reliable motor. options of auto or manual.
plenty of power. local support for service,repairs and diagnostics.
doesnt run hot. will do highway speeds easy as well as low ...

i know of a b4t swap in to a f150, but don't know about in to a patrol.
there have been a few 6bt swaps done in to patrols but they require a 2 inch lift with the hardened suspension.
would be a fair bit heavier than a 4.2 them mainly being a truck engine but they have enormous amounts of torque ...
